Dr. Elbert Cheng is a double-board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Saratoga, California. He was raised in Mountain View, and felt from a very young age that the most noble profession he could pursue was that of a surgeon. His passion for creating art with his hands and love for surgery was the foundation of his extensive education and training in facial plastic surgery.

After completing his education and six years of specialized training, he decided to embark on a journey to build his own practice alongside his sister and fellow facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Jacqueline Cheng. In doing so, he has been able to combine his love for teaching, medicine and helping patients achieve their idea of beauty since 200o.

Dr. Elbert is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the Santa Clara County Medical Society. He has been an Advanced Allergan Trainer and Instructor for over 15 years; training over 500 doctors and providers all throughout the state of California.

Education

Dr. Elbert Cheng attended Stanford for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. Still wanting to pursue his love for science, he traveled to England and undertook research and additional studies at Oxford University.

Once back in the US, he completed his Medical Degree at Duke University and returned to his roots, Stanford, for his residency in Head and Neck Surgery. After five years of intense training, he traveled to Indianapolis for one additional year of focused study with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
