Anna Guanche, MD FAAD affectionately known as “Dr. Beauty”, is a board-certified dermatologist, celebrity beauty expert and founder of Bella Skin Institute located in Calabasas, California. Dr. Guanche specializes in cosmetic dermatology, antiaging and beauty enhancements utilizing state-of-the-art skin rejuvenation procedures, laser surgery and injectables.

In addition to her private practice, which is one of only two private clinic sites approved to teach UCLA dermatology residents, Dr. Guanche was a member of the dermatology staff at UCLA Olive View Medical Center, where she taught for 13 years. A sought-after lecturer, Dr. Guanche has been voted Los Angeles Magazine’s “Super Doctor” by her peers for seven consecutive years.

Understanding that there is a constant need for learning and growth in the field, Dr. Guanche never sits still – instead, she constantly strives to be ahead of the curve in her specialty and has been called “The Steve Jobs of Dermatologists” for her innovation. Her desire to deliver more led to the development of the GuancheLift, BellaFX and her own unique concoction with Bella Microgold to give patients a real-life airbrushed look. As mom of two Dr. Guanche enjoys spending time with her family on her down time. When she’s not with the #DermDreamTeam at Bella Skin Institute, she likes to do (mostly hot) yoga and Pilates, dance, travel and is a connoisseur of fine dining. She also loves her animals: her puppies, Apollo (English Cream Golden Retriever) and Chumba (Australian Shepherd), her chicken named Carol Burnett and her African Sulcata tortoise named Maxx.Dr. Anna Guanche is a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, CalDerm, California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Women’s Dermatologic Society, among others.
